I would like to transparently share with you my position in relation to the recent controversy in media. Below you can read an email I sent today to all colleagues at Sii.
The information about the dismissal of Krystian Kosowski has spread widely on the Internet and damaged the good name of Sii and our colleagues. I am sorry and apologize for the fact that you have to experience this. Therefore, I would also like to transparently share with you the actual circumstances regarding Krystian’s dismissal and present my position in relation to the situation in which we have found ourselves.
On Friday, we made the final decision to terminate Krystian’s contract, not because he had formed a union, but because he was acting against Sii.
At Sii, we encourage and support many initiatives, whether they are organized as part of a grouping or are postulated by an individual employee. What is more, without waiting for such ideas either, we proactively implement improvements ourselves, pursuing one of our primary objectives of improving employee satisfaction.
Unfortunately, it happens that trade unions are sometimes run by extremists whose actions target enterprises such as Sii. Their efforts have a bad effect on the atmosphere, motivate people against each other, and threaten the long-term competitiveness and stability of companies. This discourages entrepreneurs from investing and creating jobs in Poland.
The actions of Krystian, who had ended previous collaborations with employers in an atmosphere of scandal (you can read about it online yourself), and the leader of the Związkowa Alternatywa trade union, Piotr Szumlewicz, who supports him, affect Sii – the workplace for thousands of employees.
You are witnessing the aggressive attacks on Sii on social media yourself. Additionally, I am sending you a scandalous letter that I received from Piotr Szumlewicz, here is an excerpt:
Thank you to all our Power People for the many words of support and solidarity – we are together, we are strong 💪😉
